Our base package is designed to provide initial interior design direction for our client. We work with you to firm up your brief, then provide an initial concept for the main areas of the home; kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, master bedroom and living room. This package includes a moodboard to show materiality, and concept sketches.
These are helpful visualisation tools showing the overall interior aesthetic, to be used by the client as a design guide when they are coordinating their interior design with suppliers and manufacturers.

Our full service package is for clients who would like a complete interior consultancy service, during both the design and construction phases, to ensure smooth cohesion between architecture and interiors.
This package is ideal for clients who are unable to be present or actively involved in the construction phase.
As per the base package, we provide an initial concept design, which is then developed further into a detailed set of technical drawings, moodboard, selections and specification schedules. We coordinate specialists for lighting, home automation and HVAC.
We liaise with the main contractor, manufacturers and suppliers on our clients behalf at both design and construction phase.

INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS
As we work through architectural concept design, our interior design team are involved to ensure the interiors are considered in the overall design. We establish the interior vision, understand the clients brief and prepare the foundation for the interior design process. We discuss the clients lifestyle requirements and review spatial planning, high level interior direction and materiality discussions.
We have a second interior design meeting to firm up the brief. During this meeting, we review interior layouts and materiality preferences – often the project architect is also involved.
After this meeting, we prepare a concept design moodboard, including look and feel imagery, key materiality and preliminary joinery concept sketches for main spaces e.g. kitchen and laundry for presentation. Once our client is comfortable with the project direction, we move into the next stage.
Once the concept design is approved, we refine the interior design, through detailed development of the interior technical drawings and material selections.
We provide a detailed moodboard of selections per room, with realistic renders for visualisation. The technical drawing package is developed to include joinery design e.g. kitchen, laundry, cabinetry. We provide detailed elevations for bathroom and tiling layouts. We coordinate HVAC, electrical and lighting from an interior perspective.
We ensure opportunity for client review and feedback throughout this detailed process – we want our clients to feel connected with the process and the final outcome.
As the main contractor(s) are preparing the pricing for the build, we provide an interiors ‘pricing package’. This includes the technical drawings and detailed schedules of all selections for the contractors, once the client has approved.
We source initial pricing from merchants/suppliers for client supplied items.
Once the project budget has been approved and the project is ready to commence on site, we prepare a final interiors construction issue drawing set for the contractors to work from, incorporating any post-budget changes.
During the construction process, as the architect, we support the client and contractors through ongoing interior design review, coordination and quality control. This includes reviewing shop drawings from the joiner, site walk throughs at key stages, updating on schedules and resolving final selections that are generally decided later in the construction process after interior lining e.g. curtains/blinds, paint colours and wallpaper.
We prepare architectural directions, review variations, payment claims and update selection schedules or interior drawings as required.
We understand there will be on site changes; a high-end, bespoke residential build is an evolving process, not an off the shelf product. We guide the clients through the process, advising when items should be addressed, so the build progresses in a timely manner.
For clients wanting a complete turnkey experience, we assist with procurement and advice on specific furniture selections, styling, accessories and artwork pieces.
Why is it beneficial to use your architect for your architectural and interior design?
The most successful projects we deliver include the interior architectural design. We find this cohesive approach is immensely beneficial:
- As the architect, we are involved in the project from the beginning. We therefore have the background knowledge and a deep understanding of all previous design decisions. This creates efficiency in communications and an intentional interconnection between the exterior and interiors, that follow the same design language;
- The interiors become a key design consideration throughout the development of the working drawings and can be coordinated earlier into the construction documentation for efficiency;
- Certain aspects of the interior design can overlap with the architectural design e.g. internal walls impacting structural design, external-internal cladding transitions, front of wall HVAC, lighting and electrical items – addressing these items in-house with a single consultant is provides best project outcomes;
- We understand the technical aspects of the building construction and have detailed knowledge of the project’s services and structural locations. This ensures compatibility of the interiors selections and a smoothly coordinated installation process.
