Lakes District Gallery

Condon Scott Architects were engaged by a local arts trust to design an art gallery to display community owned artwork, and a practical working space for the Wanaka arts community to do workshops.

Condon Scott designed a proposed 1500m2 building capable of hosting high calibre exhibitions in three interconnected galleries, with an education and teaching workshop area for resident artists and ensemble recitals.

Unfortunately, the project was never realised due to issues with consent and funding.
